Not a spiny fish, a clean-tasting fish. I'm pleasantly surprised, no fishy taste or after taste. The only aftertaste I detect is the smoke flavoring. 3 sardines. Would eat again.

Even though both tins are Great Value brands, both are a product of Thailand, and both can be found sharing the same shelf at the market; the tins with the double green fish art is the better tin of fish of the two labels.

A firm-textured fish, the cayenne flavor hits you on the first bite, followed by a salty aftertaste. A nice heat throughout the fish. This tin screams beer... This tin needs to pair with a beer. The saltiness and flavor of the fish remind me of country ham. No strong flavors or after. A salty tin. 4  sardines.
