A firm-textured fish, the cayenne flavor hits you on the first bite, followed by a salty aftertaste. A nice heat throughout the fish. This tin screams beer... This tin needs to pair with a beer. The saltiness and flavor of the fish remind me of country ham. No strong flavors or after. A salty tin. 4  sardines.

Lidl opened its first ten stores today here in the States. I made a trip to scope out their Sardine selection (naturally) on their grand opening. While taking pics to inform all of you Sardine Eaters of their sardines, out of nowhere, the Third Reich moved in on me. "You can't be taking pictures!" Really!? They wanted no pictures to be taken inside their store. For the rest of the visit, I could feel the Reich's eyes upon me as I walked around with tins of Sardines clenched tightly in my hands... Beads of sweat rolled down my forehead as I wondered if I'd make it out with these tins of Sardines... Should the Sardines pictures cease, reviews disappear... you will know the Lidl Reich got me! I'll be popping these tins in the next day or so (in a secret location!).
