(I was anxious about getting into this tin. I completely forgot my open tin shot.) A faint oil and sardine aroma was present upon opening. Eight fish to the tin(loosely packed): A medium textured fish. A clean taste with no strong flavor or aftertaste. Scales are present; they are not noticeable while eating. Not a spiny fish. The flavor of the oil compliments the fish and does not overpower the fish. 5 Sardines

A brief marinade aroma is detected upon opening; it disperses as quickly as it lets itself known. A medium-textured fish. A very mild and flavorful marinade. A great blend of spices, nothing is fighting to make itself known, a very well balance of flavors. The best-marinaded sardines I've had to date leaves no strong aftertaste, a very clean-tasting fish. ( I wonder if they have a master blender for spices and marinades as the states do for bourbon?) Perhaps they kiss each sardine and pack them with love. They are that good. I would and will eat again. 5 sardines.
