OVERALL:

Noticeable fish aroma upon opening.  A messy, packed tin. Roughly twelve fish to the tin. A soft to med textured fish. The smoke flavor is apparent but does not overpower the fish. Not a spiny fish. No strong oil taste or flavor, no lingering after taste. A good tin for .89, would eat again. 3 1\2 Sardines

It looks like a sardine gang fight happened in this tin! No aroma upon opening. No strong flavors, a plain-tasting fish, almost tasteless. A bland water flavor is detected if that's what you would call it. Not spiny, no lingering aftertaste. A bland can of fish would hold whatever sauce you added to it nicely. I wouldn't eat again, alone. 2 1\2 Sardines.

No strong aroma upon opening. A tin littered with little fish. Mustard flavor hits you on the first bite. after breaking apart the ball of sardines, they possess a med to a soft texture. No strong flavors or after. A mild mustard flavor could use a little zest. Would eat again. 2 1/2 sardines.
