OVER ALL:
A faint oil aroma upon opening. three plump evenly scaled fish to the tin. A very meaty tin of fish. No over powering oil taste. Scales not to noticeable;  if you are not a fan of scales, they slide off easy. Not a spiny fish; a roe filled fish; roe is barely detectable. no fishy taste or after taste. a clean tasting fish, a pleasant surprise being in vegetable oil. ( I found plant matter, did not even make it to the stomach yet; looks as if you just pulled it from the ocean. That's some fresh fish when canned.)
I would eat again. 5 Sardines

A tomato aroma hits you on opening. Three large, scaled fish to the tin. Heat is very mild and evenly distributed. Scales are not noticeable  One chilli to the tin; tomato sauce is very complimentary to the fish, not bitter or over powers the fish.. Chilli adds a good flavor. A roe filled fish, roe is detectable in one fish. Fish does not hold it's shape well. A very flavorful tin of fish. I would eat again. 5 Sardines

A very faint tomato aroma upon opening. Three, scaled fish to the tin. A roe filled fish, sauce is a tad on the sour side. Scales not noticeable  not a spiny fish. (This tin even comes with hair, a nice 1" black hair. Ah hell, just pull it out and keep eating.) No strong fishy after taste. You do know you are eating sardines. I may would eat again, minus the hair.
