OVERALL:
Tomato aroma upon opening; three fish to the tin. A very meaty fish; a dry fish. The sauce has a slight tartness to it. A fishy taste hits you after the tomato flavor disperses. Not a spiny fish, fish holds its shape well. I probably would not eat again. 1 1/2 Sardines.

ReplyDeleteThank you, time to pop some tins!
DeleteI unfortunately purchased three cans of these. YUCK! My favorite tomato sardine is called MABUTI made by Pinhais & Co most go to the Philippines. It is in a smaller tin than all the others they produce 2 5/8 oz compared to 3.16 oz for NURI spiced and 4 3/8 oz for NURI tomato and pure olive oil. They all cost about the same The MABUTI has smaller fish and they are delish! I hope you get a chance to taste them.
ReplyDeleteI've had, Mabuti. I reviewed them in June. A good tin. Keep popping them tins!
