Four plump scaled fish to the tin, a faint lemon aroma upon opening.
Lemon and smoke flavor very noticeable. If you ate burnt wood pine coals from a fire pit, I believe they would taste like this tin of fish. A slight twang after taste. A very firm texture. Still possess roe. A unique flavor they do have. Would I eat again? I'm not sure. I could see these guys in a salad. 2 sardines.

INGREDIENTS:
Lightly Smoked Sardines, Olive Oil, Carrots, Gherkins, Red Chili Pepper, Cloves, Salt

OVERALL:
No aroma upon opening, four scaled fish to the tin. An almost pickled taste hits you on the first bite, followed by a sudden rush of heat. As the heat begins to disperse, the cloves make their presence known. A firm-textured fish, very spiny, has a strong heat to it that lingers. Roe is present; the heat alone makes this tin, spiciest tin of sardines I've had yet. (Nice)
I give these guys 3 1/2 sardines would eat again with beer.

Well, at least now I know what "burnt wood pine coals from a fire pit" might taste like. :)
