No aroma was really detected upon opening. Four scale-loaded sardines in the tin. After descaling, they possess an enjoyable heat. The fish are a medium, meaty fish. They are delicious fish. I'm not a fan of descaling your own sardines, but I must admit, these are pretty damn good-tasting sardines. (Best scale your own, I've had to date) Nice clean after taste. I would eat and descale these again. 4 1/2 sardines

Sneaky bastards, the tin comes in a box; the tin possesses no pull tab nor a key. A tomatoey fishy aroma upon cracking open the tin. Four medium-sized fish to the tin. A firm-textured fish, no fishy after taste. The sauce is very mild, not too sweet or sour. Fish in tomato sauce are not my favorite, by no means. This tin is not too bad. 2 1/2 sardines.

Here's another tin that says "Wild Caught" I can't help but laugh when I see this on the packaging. Smokey aroma very prominent upon opening, five loosely packed fish to the tin. The fish are a little on the soft side. The smoke flavor really overpowers the fish. A fishy after-taste attempts to be known but is held at bay by the smoke flavor. A bitter, almost off-putting after taste. Would not eat again. No Sardines
