OVERALL:
(I was anxious about getting into this tin. I completely forgot my open tin shot.) A faint oil and sardine aroma was present upon opening. Eight fish to the tin(loosely packed): A medium textured fish. A clean taste with no strong flavor or aftertaste. Scales are present; they are not noticeable while eating. Not a spiny fish. The flavor of the oil compliments the fish and does not overpower the fish. 5 Sardines

Three large fish to the tin. A sweet yet peppery aroma upon opening. A medium, almost soft textured fish. A roe-filled fish, the spice is virtually unnoticeable. One chili pod to the tin. A clean-tasting fish, not spiny. No strong aftertaste, A salty tin of fish. 2 1/2 Sardines.

The heat from the peppers gradually hits you followed by the flavor of the tomato sauce. No lingering flavors, but the heat from the peppers do linger afterward. A subtle heat. Fish holds their shape well, not a spiny fish. I would eat again. 3 1/2 Sardines
