Three large, scaled fish to the tin, subtle oil aroma upon opening. A meaty fish scales are not too noticeable. No strong fish taste. Oil pairs well with the fish. A medium-textured fish does not hold its shape well when removing from tin. A bland tin of fish. 3 sardines.

Three plump fish to the tin. Faint oil aroma upon opening. A meaty fish, dry. On first bite, there is a peculiar flavor that hits you ( not a good one) followed by a weak heat, that attempts to make itself known; yet fails. Fish crumbles while removing from tin. No strong after taste. 2 1/2 sardines.
