OVERALL:
Sneaky bastards, the tin comes in a box; the tin possesses no pull tab nor a key. A tomatoey fishy aroma upon cracking open the tin. Four medium-sized fish to the tin. A firm-textured fish, no fishy after taste. The sauce is very mild, not too sweet or sour. Fish in tomato sauce are not my favorite, by no means. This tin is not too bad. 2 1/2 sardines.

Very mild aroma upon opening. Four medium-sized fish to the tin. A very dry fish, no fishy after taste. The sauce is not too overpowering. Actually, it compliments these fish. Not too bad of a tin from Thailand. I may eat again; they possess a slight hint of heat to them. 2 1/2 sardines.

The smoke flavor hits you upon cracking open the tin. Four to a tin. A few scales lay upon the fish. A very spiny, as well as a very dry fish. The smoke flavor does not overpower the fish; however, it may benefit from it. No bad after taste. A very meaty fish. Would not eat again. 1 1/2 sardines.

INGREDIENTS: SPRING WATER, SALT

PRICE: $1.09

OVERALL: Four to a can, would guess the oil floating in the spring water would be the natural oil of the sardine. The sardines were very soft almost mushy soft. Decent flavor, kind of a being at the ocean after taste. Personal preference is too mushy for me. Out of 5 sardines, I give it a 2.

OVERALL: Five to a can. Does not look appealing at all. "SELECT SMALL" Who the hell are they trying to fool. The smoke flavor hits you on the first bite, takes away from the fish. Actually has a fishy aftertaste, not a pleasant one. Was very disappointed. I would not recommend it. 1 sardine is all it shall receive.

OVERALL: Four to a can. Actually looks pleasant. Looks how I would have expected the select small to have looked. They are the exact same, same ingredients everything. However, these taste much better, as if they were done by two different canneries. No over pungent after taste, smoke still covers up the sardine taste, only a hint of fishy after taste. Out of 5 sardines, I give it a 2.

PRICE:$1.09

OVERALL: Four to a can, no noticeable odor. Sauce filled to the brim. Nice texture, really nice heat from the sauce, can really taste the Cayenne, on the first bite and your mouth feel the warmth. Can't really taste the fish for the hot sauce. But that's OK, some of the best hot sauce I've tasted from a sardine can. Out of 5 sardines, I give it a 4.

SeaNet-Sardines 2

SeaNet: IN SOYBEAN OIL APPEARANCE:
NUTRITION: N/A at this time.

  PRODUCT OF: CANADA

  INGREDIENTS: SOYBEAN OIL

  PRICE: .79

OVERALL: A strong fishy aroma upon opening. Really soft fish, not spiny at all. A mild-tasting sardine. Not as bland as other oil-packed sardines. The fish was not swimming in oil, seems they put as little oil as possible in the can. If you like the oil these are not for you. Did have one overlooked sardine in the can, one still possessed its entire tail. Will give these guys a strong 2 1/2 sardines out of 5.
