Sardines, Vegetable Oil, Carrot, Spices, Salt

OVERALL: Strong sardine aroma upon opening. Three large pieces of mangy-looking sardines in the tin. Scales are in patches. Fish is crumbly, which makes descaling the patches off more difficult. No heat to the spicy oil. One fish still possessed its innards, the spine was very detectable in these fish. I would not eat again. No sardines.

  1. I tried the Goya in Olive oil. Blue box. 4.25oz can @ $1.89 Product of Spain. Looked good but mushy and tasteless.

    1. May be a tin best for a spread or sorts.

    2. I bought one of these. The current production is a large, oval can...425 GRAMS (15 oz). Product of Ecuador...not China or Thailand as in previous years. I haven't tried them yet, but will report back on the quality of the Ecuador sourced Sardines.
