Smoke aroma hits you upon opening. Four plump, scaled  fish to the tin, scales not noticeable. A semi soft textured fish, smoke is subtle, does not overpower the fish. A clean tasting fish. Roe filled, roe is dense in texture and not grainy. No strong flavors or after. 4 1/2 sardines

A faint pepper and tomato aroma upon opening. Four tightly packed, plump fish to the tin. a mild flavored fish, tomato sauce is mild, no bitterness detected. Sauce does not over power the fish, balances out well.  Heat slowly creeps up after several bites. A medium textured fish, no strong taste or after. Heat lingers afterwards, a mild heat. Not a spiny fish. 5 sardines.

No aroma upon opening. Four plump fish to the tin. An attractive looking tin of fish. A roe filled fish. A soft textured fish, no strong taste or after, not a spiny fish. A neutral tasting fish, would help if ate with sides. I would eat again. 4 sardines.
