OVERALL:
A very attractive tin of fish. A smokey aroma hits you on opening; a great textured fish, lovely smoke flavor(almost a charred smoke). 25 little fish to the tin. These little guys are just exploding with flavor. Their tails are still attached; tails are a little dry, jerky-like texture, like a chip without the crunch. Salt is very prominent. No after-taste, just a clean, crisp taste of goodness. A great tin of fish, I will be eating these again. I give these guys a strong 5 sardine rating.

A slight difference to the can. These guys are smoked too, only they left that part out on the header. Same as above. Would and will eat again. Thirty fish to the tin. These guys get 5 sardines.

Ralph Henry stated in his blog that he really sums these tins up. "If you have never had Russian smoked sardines, you have not lived a full life, and your wife should be scolded."
