OVERALL:
These are in BPA-free cans, for all the BPA watchers. A slight sardine aroma upon opening. Three plump fish to the tin. A firm-textured fish, fish, are on the dry side. Almost a tune quality to it. Fish possess an excellent seasoning; they also have a very faint bitter taste due to the innards. This tin leaves you with the classic fish breath and taste. I would eat again. 4 1/2 sardines.

A tomato almost stew aroma upon opening. Three round plump fish to the tin. A very meaty fish, an almost stew-like taste. A tad on the dry side, not a spiny fish. (This tin over pasta would be good) No fishy taste or after taste, more of a chicken quality/texture. I would eat again. 4 1/2 sardines.

OVERALL:
Upon opening, a very mild fish aroma, 16 fish to the tin (tin reads "headless pieces") A very dense textured fish, strong tasting, yet not fishy. Almost a robust musky flavor to the fish. (the odor you get when you have a snapping turtle in a hay-filled barrel, cleaning the turtle out, is the taste.) The 2nd layer of fish becomes incredibly salty. Not a bad tin of fish; not sure I would eat again. 3 Sardines.
