Strong tomato aroma upon opening. Six medium sized, loosely packed fish to the tin. A dry textured fish. A thick sauce, sauce has a bitter almost chemical after taste; after taste disperses quickly. A spiny fish. I probably wouldn't eat again. 1 1/2 Sardines

Heat hits you on first bite, a very even, lingering heat. No fishy taste or after, the tin contains one tiny chili, and several pepper corns. Not a spiny fish. A good tin of fish. Will Eat again. 5 Sardines

The flavor of the fish itself is like being at the ocean. (not a polluted, rotting fish ocean, but a clean pristine ocean) A roe filled fish; roe is noticeable a bit of a grainy texture. Scales not noticeable.  A plain tasting fish. I would eat again. Not alone. 3 1/2 Sardines
