These are the first sardine packaging I've came across with braille on the packaging.  A faint almost stew like aroma upon opening. Eight tightly packed fish to the tin. A firm textured fish, slightly on the dry side. A hint of sweetness is detected;  scales are not noticeable;  no fishy taste or after.  Not a spiny fish; Fish holds it's shape very well when removed from tin. I would eat again. 3 1/2 Sardines.

PRODUCT OF:
Portugal

INGREDIENTS:
Sardines, Sunflower Oil, Spices,Salt

PRICE:

OVER ALL:
A sweet, almost citrus aroma hits you on opening. Nine small, patchy scaled, fish to the tin. Heat is present on first bite. The taste is a tad off. The taste reminds me of a salve my grand paw would use at night. The texture is also off; dry and an almost over cooked quality to it. No peppers/chillis in the tin; only spicy oil. I would not eat again. No sardines.

    2. I believe it. :-) They seem more recipe-worthy, also, maybe for a chowder? Or a salad...
