Oil aroma hits you on opening. Three plump, scaled fish to the tin; a roe-filled fish. One fish had not been completely voided of contents "makes for a bitter fish"  A very meaty fish. flavors are mild and well-balanced. No fishy taste or after, nor an oil taste. Scales are not noticeable. I would eat again.

OVERALL:
A faint oil aroma upon opening. A lovely amber hue to the oil. Three plump, tightly packed fish to the tin. Scales are large, noticeable. "Easy to remove if you're anti scales." A nice heat hits you on the first bite and lingers. Two chili pods to the tin. A meaty, roe-filled fish. A good textured fish, not spiny, the heat alone makes this tin for me. No after-taste, only a nice heat. I would eat again. 5 sardines.
