OVERALL:
No aroma upon opening. Four large, tightly packed fish to the tin. A medium textured fish, the lemon flavor is subtle; yet lets itself known, followed by a hint of saltiness. No strong taste or after; a mild-tasting fish with a nice balance of flavors. 4 1/2 sardines.

A faint tomato aroma upon opening. Four fish to the tin; a sweet tomato sauce, sweetness hits you on the first bite. A tad dry. Some type of heat would complement this tin. Fish does not hold their shape well while removing from tin. Not spiny. 2 1/2 sardines.

A deep oil aroma upon opening. Five attractive, long fish to the tin. Salt hits you on the first bite. A flavorful fish. No strong tastes of oil or a fishy aftertaste. Fish has a good medium texture. These sardines would go great with beer. A clean-tasting fish. These were a hit with my 3 and 6-year-old daughters. I would and will eat again. 5 Sardines.
