OVER ALL:
No aroma upon opening, four plump fish to the tin. A very meaty fish, scales are slightly noticeable. Not a spiny fish. A peculiar after taste is pres. No strong fishy aftertaste, more of a refrigeration after taste. When I finished the tin off with some bread, after taste was not detected. (not how I rate) 2 1/2 sardines.

Oil aroma upon opening, two large, plump, scaled fish to the tin. A soft textured fish, fish falls apart while removing from tin... A bland fish, not much flavor can be detected. Spice, never makes it self known; I've had spicier tap water. A bitter aftertaste is pres. Fish literally crumbles the more you attempt to eat it. 1 1/2 Sardines.

A very faint spice aroma upon opening. Three plump fish to the tin. Bay leaf flavor hits you on first bite, A subtle sour note follows. No strong fish taste or after; a sweet under-note does linger.  A slightly dry fish yet meaty. I would eat again. 3 Sardines.

Vinegar aroma upon opening. Pepper seeds lat atop the fish (always a good sign) four plump fish to the tin. Vinegar flavor is present on first bite. Heat slowly creeps up, then hits you with a burst of flavor. A nice heat; heat is evenly distributed through out the fish. No strong fish taste or after. Would eat again. 4 Sardines.

(not a dry fish)  A clean tasting fish, with no strong fish taste or after. Not a spiny fish. I would eat again. 5 Sardines

No aroma upon opening, four medium fish to the tin. A sweet taste hits you on first bite. A firm textured fish,the fish becomes dry as you eat it. A watery sauce with an almost metal aftertaste. (Crackers really helps this tin out) A fish flavor is present, with a lingering fish aftertaste; almost feel as if i'm eating fresh cut bait is what the aftertaste reminds me of. Probably wouldn't eat again. 1 Sardine.

No aroma upon opening. A generous amount of ginger is present, with five fish to the tin. A soft textured fish. A rush of ginger and salt hits you on first bite. The soybean oil reminds me more of water than oil, with the bland taste and thinness of the liquid. This tin reminds me of canned breakfast sausage. A spiny fish. The tin may be better with rice or even eggs. I may would eat again. 1 1/2 sardines.
